How refunds work on Trybe

A quick overview of how refunds work, who decides, and what to expect.

Written by Trybe Fm

Refunds on Trybe depend on a few things. Here is what you need to know.

Who decides on a refund

Most of the time, the event organizer is the one who decides on refunds. They set the ticket policy when they create the event (refundable or non refundable), and they review every refund request that comes in.

Trybe steps in directly in three situations:

  • The event is cancelled or not happening

  • There is a clear platform or payment issue on our side

  • The event turns out to be fraudulent

When the ticket is non refundable

If the ticket was sold as non refundable and the event took place as planned, the organizer has the final say on whether to approve your request. We can pass the request to them, but we cannot force a refund.

How to submit a refund request

You can submit a refund request directly from your ticket page in your Trybe account. Once submitted, it becomes visible to the organizer, who will review it from their side.

If your event was cancelled, you usually don't need to do anything. We process those refunds automatically.
